Read but No Reviews:

The Escort by Maryn Sinclair

This one was good but not very memorable. I liked it and thought the relationship developed realistically and sweetly, but there ended up being way more military talk than I was expecting. Also it got pretty drawn out in the last third, which made me bored with it.

Dreamland by Sarah Dessn

This was my first Dessen novel, and I did enjoy it. I love issues books, and thought she did a great job realistically portraying an abusive relationship. It wasn't over the top like other books on this topic. I just didn't feel an emotional connection with Caitlin, so I had to knock off a star.

Girl of Nightmares (Anna, #2) by Kendare Blake

I think this sequel was kind of unecessary. Sure, it brought Cas some closure, but I think a different ending to the first book and a few more pages could have accomplished the same thing. This one felt dragging for most of it, but I did really like the ending scenes.

Recommendation:

Vampires + Crying (me, not the vampires) = OMG read this now!!! Well, read it after ReVamped, if you haven't already.
